Is Plusnet phone line the same as a BT line?

Say I own a PN phone line and bought PN broadband over it. If I wanted to switch my broadband to another provider who assumes (and can take over) a 'BT' line, can I switch? In other words, is my PN line the same as a BT line?

in essence yes, PN buy the service from BT Wholesale, you in turn get the service from BT Openreach, blame it all on Maggie who split up BT
