Included calls and none included

Hi,

I have just had to check an elderly friend's Plusnet bill, to attempt to work out why he has been paying much more than the basic monthly cost. What I found was that he had been ringing chargeable numbers, despite having a PN contract which included the free 24/7 landline and mobile package. He basically got caught out.

What he would find useful, is a quick lookup system, which would be part of his account page, where he types proposed phone number in, to see what it would cost him to ring the number. Is there such a thing please?

Fix

No, there isn't such a thing.

It's relatively simple really: with the UK landline & mobile package calls are inclusive (up to one hour) for any number starting 01, 02, 03, 0845 or 0870. The UK mobile allowance is 2000 minutes per month.

Anything else is chargeable.
