Import phone number from Virgin?

Hi, 

I've just signed my Mother up for Plusnet phone and broadband.

She's currently a Virgin customer. She'd like to keep her existing number and Virgin told her that it could be released.

Is it possible for her to keep the number and what would be process be?

We can request your mothers telephone number from virgin once the line is active with ourselves. Usually this is the safer option so if there is a delay in activation at least the virgin services are up and running should there be a delay.

There is also another option of where we request the number immediately and virgin should cease the services once our line is installed/connected with the requested number.

So that we can look into this could you please PM your mothers account username?
