I want a new landline number please

since I have been on hold for 28 mins so far I guess phoning to request is not really possible. Please an I get a new landline number, as we have had scamming calls. I understand there might be a charge for this after reading previous posts. I want this changed asap

Getting a new number will only help for a while. The scammers use automated dialers that ring different numbers till they get a reply.

If you want to avoid this buy a phone that features BT Call Guardian - these work by blocking all calls except those you decide to accept via an allow list.
