I've been given the wrong land line number

Hi

It has been a disaster with my broadband and now I have discovered that there is a really good reason I am not receiving any telephone calls. I thought I had moved my landline number from my BT provider to Plusnet (owned by BT) in Dec 2020. I had kept my number for several years. I discover today that I have the wrong number. Plusnet has not brought over my old number and just issued a random number. How do I complain and try to get my telephone number, I would never have switched providers if I knew what was coming. PLEASE HELP. Thanks

Re: I've been given the wrong land line number

You’re normally told if you’ll be given a new number.

Try calling 0800 432 0200 and see if you can get your original number back. If it’s a BT number and it’s not been assigned to anybody else, it should be possible.
