How to remove free voicemail & Maintain ex directory phone number

I am having great difficulty in removing the free Voicemail service. It is a nuisance ! Also how do I find out if my phone number is still ex directory. Thanks for any help given.

Please check your emails, the order to remove voicemail is in place and will be removed by the end of today, and I can also confirm that it is fully ex-directory
