House move landline not working

I’ve just moved house and my broadband is working but the landline is not? There is no mobile signal in the area I’ve moved to as it’s very rural so need the landline.

I'm sorry to hear that your landline isn't working since you've moved house.

We've checked your phone order and it's still in progress to complete later today at which point your phone should start working.

If your phone still isn't working tomorrow let us know and we'll chase this up further

Ok.
I can’t understand why the broadband is working fine though? I assumed the landline would be first.

It may well be that the work at the cabinet has been completed to enabled the broadband but the work at the exchange to enable the phone hasn't been completed.

As I mentioned above if it's still not working by tomorrow let us know
