If all goes to plan we should be moving house in the next couple of months. I want to keep my phone & broadband with Plusnet, but it appears that although the vendor has her broadband with Plusnet the landline is with BT. Is this going to cause any problems?
Cheers

Jon,
I am sure that CRT will be along on Monday with formal advice, however given what one has seen around here before, if you can come o some arrangement with the present subscriber, it would be better if she did not cease service with BT as she will face a BB disconnection charge and PN will not be able to place orders on the line until her cease completes. That could mean that you will be without phone / broadband for 2 weeks.
When I left my business property (PlusNet phone and BB) I made arrangements with the new lease holder to take over the phone and broadband. That resulted in no break in service and I saved a packet in cessation charges. Remember cessation charges are those fees levied by BTw/BTOR for doing buggar all!

I think contacting the specialist house move team is likely to provide the best guidance and information.
Details are in the Home Move Guide.

In a word....no. Shouldn't be any hassle.
If she keeps the line active then we can take it over within two weeks. So the sooner you get in touch, the better really as we'll be able to place an order before any other supplier intervenes.
I recommend getting it arranged with our dedicated house moves team as per David's advice. Though I'll gladly place the orders for you if you like
