Home phone voicemail

Hello

Is it possible to extend the number of rings before the Home Phone Voicemail answers?

I'm in a wheelchair and nearly never get to the phone before the voicemail cuts in.

Thanks

Richard

Re: Home phone voicemail

On standard Voicemail, no - it's fixed at 'medium' (seven rings).

Voicemail Extra (£3 per month) offers the facility to change the timing, thus:

Change how many times the phone rings before Voicemail Extra answers
  1. When you hear the main menu press 2 to go to Personal Options
  2. Then press 3 to go to Calling Options
  3. You'll be shown what the number of rings is currently set to
  4. Press 0 to choose 'immediate' (no rings)
  5. Press 1 to choose 'short' (four rings)
  6. Press 2 to choose 'medium' (seven rings)
  7. Press 3 to choose 'long' (ten rings)

Yes - it's provided by default, but if you log in to your account, and then click on

https://www.plus.net/plustalk/index.php?page=wlr_add_call_features

you can turn it off.

It has to be said that Plusnet's systems are frequently flaky, so if it doesn't work, post another reply here and one of the Plusnet Help Team will sort it.

Re: Home phone voicemail

@Richard-261 - 198kHz is correct.

Can you give it a go and let us know if we need to look into this further?

Thanks,

Re: Home phone voicemail

I certainly will, but it might not be for a day or two. A bit preoccupied.
