Home phone number change

im about to move in with my girlfriend and would like my phone/broadband service with me but as its going to be a fresh start as this is the first time that we will be living togetther i was woundering if i could change the telephone number? One of the reasons for this is that i get a lot of sales calls.

It's actually easier for us to give you a new number, so I don't see this being a problem at all
