Home phone not activated

We have just joined after switching from talktalk and had our broadband activated but our phone line has not been activated. It says we have a problem with our line and when we run diagnosis it says its still with the other provider. The chat isn't working and the 0800 phone wait is 40 mins... Not going well so far...

Hi @Olliesales1988 and welcome to the Community Forums.
I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your service and have got off to such a poor start with ourselves. I can see you managed to get through to our call center and upon testing a fault advisor has identified a problem at the exchange which explains the issues you're seeing. This has been raised to our suppliers and they have advised of a estimated response time of Wednesday 5pm. Keeping in mind however, this is the latest they will look into the problem and we may hear back sooner. I'd advise then, if you haven't heard from our faults team by Wednesday evening to drop us a message on here as we'll happily chase up the fault update for you.
