Home phone line not working Broadband OK

Probably too late tonight for this, but I've just noticed that my phone is showing a line error. Tried another phone on the line and that doesn't work either.
Broadband FTTC is working OK.
They've been working on taking the old poles out today around here, including the one in my drive. I noticed it was out first thing, but it came back later.
OH is expecting a phone appointment from the doc tomorrow. Mobile is at best unreliable here.
Any help suggestions?

Report a phone issue via:https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/ . It won't get looked at until tomorrow most likely, but it is the correct way.

The automated bot will run fairly quickly, however if an engineer is required on customer premises, that will not get progressed until office hours.  Look at the tickets on the account via the user portal.
