Home Line activated

I sent a question re ticket number 35042713 to ask when my phone line will be activated i was advised that there was a backlog. can you please advise me how much longer i will need to wait?

Ive been waiting for over two months so the backlog must be huge. Have been advised that only one man is available to do the job and he's probably on holiday!

Oh no thats terrible, I was advised my line will be active on friday. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Cheers Steve, I was a bit concerned after reading kjt53 has been waiting 2 months, I’m hoping it’s a one off incident (open reach tut tut  ) and that my install will go ahead as scheduled.

kjt53's situation was a one-off, a move of the phone component from one account to another. That had to be actioned manually on our side and was nothing to do with order lead times

No probs, People never share compliments as freely as they do criticism. 
Doubt if things were faultless in Mr A.G. Bell days, fortunately he was offski by the time the carrier pigeon’s arrived with customers problems
