Help, no dial tone, and customers services not helping

Hello, our home phone has had no dial tone for over 2 weeks. Cannot call out, incoming calls occasionally display the number briefly, but phone doesn’t ring. Broadband is mostly working fine, although has gone very slow and down to 0mb/s a few times recently.

I have tried a different phone in the main socket and get the same result.

the plusnet online phone trouble shooter just gives the the message of ‘opps, something went wrong’ after a couple of minutes.

2 online chat sessions with Plusnet have not fixed the issue.

 

please help.

I assume that your phone contract is with Plusnet? If not you need to report the phone fault to whoever supplies it.

Assuming the phone contract is with Plusnet they cannot 'fix' the problem, they have to report it to BT who will then fix it. Are you saying that Plusnet have failed to report a phone fault for you or are you complaining that you are having to wait to get it repaired? In either case all you can do is keep chasing Plusnet.

The Phone line checker does automatically report fault if one's found but many people report they get this error

message at end of process; time PN fixed this.
