Getting calls for other people and calling out I am getting random folks

My line is boogered it would seem. I have experienced this before but never for an extended period.
Numbers I know are correct are being routed to random folks I never heard of etc.
Is this a local fault or a network issue?

Hi there,
That very much sounds like a network issue, I've just tried testing the line but it seems to be in use so the test failed.
Mind replying back when you know the line is free please? the test should take just a few minutes after I've picked up on your reply.
Incidentally does your number display as expected to who ever you are calling? (assuming you don't withhold it)
