Geographical support number

I am shortly moving to Plusnet phone - main reason for doing so have had 2 major line faults recently and contacting a human at BT with any sort of grasp of English is a nightmare. They did at least give one a geographical number if calling from mobile. Is there such a number for Plusnet e.g. the old support numbers?

Re: Geographical support number

the current number is
Residential Support 0800 432 0200 All day, every day
You'll need your username and password handy
0845 numbers are charged at a lo-call rate. 0800 numbers are free to call from landlines, but will be chargeable from mobiles. Rates will vary depending on your network and call plan. Calls may be recorded for training puposes.
dont know if this still works
Plusnet Customer Service 0114 296 5198 Plusnet Faults 0114 296 5188

and wonder whether they still work.

Re: Geographical support number

PlusNet have spoken of introducing 03xx numbers as well, but this doesn't seem to have happened yet. Or you could use a relay service, such as http://www.0800buster.co.uk/ or (if you have it) Skype To Go.

Happening in a week or two I believe.

That's excellent - and reinforces my view that one can judge companies' attitudes to their customers by the phone numbers they give out. It may seem trivial, but when a company gives out only 0844, 0843, or 0871 numbers, that I think is a strong indicator of wider management attitudes. Those who publish 01, 02, or 03 numbers are almost always more responsive, in my experience - to the point where I now take this into account when deciding whom to patronise!

The answer, I have found this afternoon, that PlusNet Faults      0114 2965188 certainly does.
