Fibre Voice Access?

Hi
Just a quick question, but do you offer or can you offer Fibre Voice Access (basically a telephone line over FTTP)?
There's someone on TBB asking - so thought it's worth clarifying.
Thanks

Re: Fibre Voice Access?

There is so far as I'm aware only one exchange Deddington in Oxfordshire which is the experimental fully fibre FTTP/VOIP exchange where this can be done.
The independent full fibre ISP companies like Gigaclear and Hyperoptic have a VOIP partner (?Vonage?) who help them offer this to customers over their FTTP network.

Re: Fibre Voice Access?

Openreach/BT Wholesale supply FVA - http://www.openreach.co.uk/orpg/home/products/super-fastfibreaccess/fibrevoiceaccess/fibrevoiceacces...
I think BT Retail is the only ISP offering both FTTP and FVA at the moment.
I am wondering if Plusnet are able to offer it through BT Wholesale (we believe there are no technical reasons why they could not), but I think it's more of a question how Plusnet's internal systems (billing) would handle it compared to the normal WLR they offer.

Re: Fibre Voice Access?

Hi AndyH,
Unfortunately it's not something we offer at the moment. If this changes in the future then we'll make an announcement Smiley
