Hi,
I've just moved to the PN home phone service, and while I can see I've got 1471, I don't seem to have 1571 (answering service). Is this not included as part of the phone package?
Ta,
Steve

Dial 1571 and see if there are any messages, last year when I moved the phone to PN the answering service was "on/active" by default.

I had my line installed today and 1571 is also active by default. My question is how do I turn it off?

You should be able to remove call features Here
However on this occasion it looks like voicemail was added to your line in error and isn't actually on your account. I've placed an order to get that removed for you.
