Delays and no response

So, I initially ordered phone and broadband on the 22 October, with an expected porting date of 6 November. After multiple calls, emails, being told to contact Sky because they had put a cease on the line, then being told that it was Plusnet that had done it, then being told the cease was removed, then that it wasn't then that it could take 24-48hrs. I was finally told a week ago that it could take Openreach up to 7 days to remove the cease. 7 days later I am no further forward. This is beyond ridiculous and I wonder if I should just go elsewhere. Has any one else had similar issues?

I could post the transcript of the chats I have had as the mind boggles at the incompetence.
