Credit limits on Anytime phone package.

Thinking about switching from BT to PlusNet phone but a bit mystified about credit limits on all-inclusive phone packages, particularly Anytime. One info page states that there is a £75 per month credit limit, from which the cost of all calls made is deducted. So does this mean that if someone chats to a Uk landline (01, 02 etc) for say 55mins that the notional cost against the credit limit would be 55 X 10p = £5.50?  Even 30 mins per day (cost £3.00) amounts to £90 per month, thereby generating a penalty or a need to top up.
Is this correct? If so, I will stay with BT, which doesn't seem to mention this at all.

Re: Credit limits on Anytime phone package.

As long as the call doesn't go over a hour you wouldn't be charged for calling a landline on the Anytime package.
The credit limit only applies to calls that are chargeable such as mobiles, 0844 and 118 for example.
