Cold sales calls - not a Plusnet customer

Help.... I am being bombarded with cold sales calls from PlusNet. I am not a customer of PlusNet nor do I wish to be. I didn't give them permission to contact me and I am signed up with the telephone preference service so this should not happen. Plus on 25 May 2018 under GDPR they will need my permission to be contacted and my details retained by them. How do I stop them. I tried to have an online chat with an adviser who was absolutely useless and asked me how I know it is PlusNet calling me... well the numbers used are ID by 0114 (Sheffield number) and when I phone this number it identifies itself as PlusNet. The adviser all but called me a liar and said that PlusNet do not identify themselves when calling people! So I am not at a loss of what to do. I can't log in anywhere as I am not a customer... I have wasted a lot of time researching how to remove myself and got nowhere. Surely someone must be able to help. It isn't one unique 0114 number so if I were to try and block a number they would hemorage into another number!

More importantly you need to review the contents of the database this number is contained within. Post May 25th the fines for broaching GDPR are significant.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
