Change to PN for home phone

I'm considering switching to PN for home phone, but have been informed by PN "There is a chance your number will change"
Has anyone switched to PN and had their number changed? (Changing numbers at the moment is not an option)

Re: Change to PN for home phone

I switched from BT to PN home phone over a year ago and my number did not change.

"5. If I transfer my line to Plusnet, will I keep my number?
Yes.
In some extreme cases this might not be possible. In the event of this, we'll contact you to discuss your options before starting the transfer."

Re: Change to PN for home phone

Hi Journeys,
There's more of an issue keeping numbers where it's a number that's never been on the BT network, if your line is currently supplied by BT (no matter who you pay the line rental to) I'd be very surprised if you didn't keep the same number.
Hope that helps,
