Can dial out on home phone but cannot receive calls

Can't receive incoming calls. Sometime rings once then just cuts off. I have removed all cables and used a corded phone into the master socket still not working. Done the phone problems page and done a phone line test. That just comes up with "Opps there is a problem" Tried phoning but 60 minuetes wait, chat not working.

While you wait for a staff member to pop by, you can do a quick check to see if the phone test did raise a fault (It sometimes says it has failed but does raise a fault report)

Log on to https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=search and it will show any open tickets. If the phone tester managed to log a fault, the resulting ticket will show as open here.

Fault found in outside cable coming through the wall into lounge.

All working ok now.
