Can I manually add my own numbers to Call Protect blacklist?

I've had Call Protect set up for about 3 weeks, but I can't seem to add any unwanted phone numbers by dialling 1572; I just get a 'service unavailable' message.

Can I only add a number once I've answered a call?  Or can I add the number manually to a Call Protect blacklist via my members account?

Thanks.

Welcome to the Forum @cool4cats

I thought that message meant that Call Protect wasn't enabled. Is it showing on on your account?

If - when - you can access it, yes you can add numbers manually that you want blocked. But not though your account or a web interface, just using the phone itself. As far as I know, the attached file (I downloaded it some time ago) is still up-to-date.

Thank you @BrightonRock .

Yes Call Protect is showing on my account, but when I dial 1572 I get a 'this service is unavailable' message; I think I may need to call customer services.

Yes, I think it is going to need Plusnet to look at the situation. One of the team might pick it up here.but I think you might well have to phone in.
