Caller display not working

I'm sorry to hear that your caller display isn't working.

I've looked into this and it appears that whilst the feature shows as active on our end it isn't on our suppliers.

This has now been rectified and it should be working now.

#234# gives the "service unavailable" recording.

I'm really sorry to hear that your caller display isn't working. It shows active against your account. 

To check that your caller display is active, please dial *#234# if it states that caller display is inactive or unavailable, please then dial *234# this is the correct way to manually activate it on your line.

I've checked over your account and the line and while caller display does show as being active on your account, it unfortunately looks like the advisor who manually placed your order failed to include caller display so it's not actually on the line.

I do sincerely apologise this was missed from the initial order and then not picked up sooner when reporting the problem.

I've now placed an order to correct this. While we always have to advise up to 1 working day for these types of orders to complete, they generally complete very quickly on the same day, so I'd expect that to be active shortly for you.

I am sorry to hear about your caller display not working and I apologise for the frustration caused to you.

I have removed and added your caller display feature back on in hopes this fixes the issue. Please could you try dial #234#  and let us know how you get on?

Hi

My Caller Display has decided to stop working.

I've switched the phone off and on again and tried #234# (where do people find out these things?) and I'm told it's not available.

Hopefully it's a simple fix at your end.

Hi Rick. I'm sorry to see your caller display isn't working, I've reported this as a fault through to Openreach now and we've been provided an estimated response time of by 30/08/19 23:59:59 for an engineer to go out and investigate further.

Let us know how it goes over the next few days.

No problem Rick.

We've detected a potential exchange fault which is likely the cause for the problem.

Fingers crossed that fixes it once an engineer goes out.
