Caller display not working after moving account to a new property

Hello,

My Caller Display was working fine in the previous house. Since moving, using the same telephone, there is no Caller Display. As suggested by Plusnet support team, I have tried connecting the telephone directly to the BT master socket with no filters and no other telephone equipment but there is still no display. Calling *#234# I get the message 'Caller Display is not available'.

Looking through the Forum messages, suggests that Plusnet need to reactivate this option after a house move.

Also, when I dial out, I hear a strange two-tone noise (dah-dah, dah-dah) for a few seconds before the dial tones start.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Hi Chris.

Sorry to hear caller display isn't working.

It doesn't look like we selected the option to add it when ordering the line.

I've placed an order to add the feature to your line now and it should activate within a few hours.

Regarding the odd dial tone, that's usually caused by new voicemail messages on the line. If you dial 1571 are there any new messages to listen to?
