Passing the cost onto customers - when 'free' is not really free. Apparently the government is making telcos provide caller ID as standard from Oct'18 - as it should be. So obviously there's an inevitability to price increases as a result. Why am I not surprised...

As suggested earlier in the topic - if everyone gets the facility for "free" wanting it or not - we all end up paying for it, want it or not.

What can now be said is that there is no distinct additional charge for it.  Not so much "free" as included, much in the same way that BT Retail phone line charges have always been £1 more expensive but with CLID included for "free".

In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
