I have CallProtect enabled on my account but not voicemail (because I prefer to use my own answerphone device). If CallProtect diverts a call to voicemail then I can still play the voicemail by dialling 1572 3, but how can I tell whether there are any messages waiting (other than dialling 1572 3 every day)?
I 'discovered' the CallProtect feature by making a Skype call to my home 'phone number (to keep my Skype credit active) and got the 1572 message, so clearly Skype calls are diverted automatically.
Fixed! Go to the fix.
Hi @MikeBz, call protect is used to prevent nuisance calls and built in the feature is a predefined blacklist. This list may also include Skype calls. If you wish to manage your personal blacklist you can dial 1572 and you should be presented with this option. In regards to listening to your junk voicemail I'm afraid the only way to check this is also to dial 1572 whenever required.
