Call redirection

A BT engineer has broken my phone connection (instead of fixing it) as this seems to be a protracted affair is it possible to have called transferred to a mobile number?

Sorry to see this is still an issue for you.
Sure, we can arrange for a call divert for the duration of the fault for you.
Is this for the mobile number listed on your account?
If it's a different number please PM it to me.

I've applied the call divert for you which should be active within 3 hours.
I'm keeping a ticket on your account in my personal pool as I'll need to place a manual order to remove it when the fault has been resolved.

Hi Adam, as of 23.15 the divert was not working.

Hi George,
As per the PM I've just phoned Openreach as the order was rejected. They're applying the divert manually for me so it should be in place in around 10 minutes time.

This is adding insult to injury. BTO muck up my phone line and I'm being billed for diverted calls while they take their time repairing it.

BT retails offering, I'm seriously thinking about moving to BT I never had problems getting faults fixed quickly when I was with BT. I'm really struggling to decide if to renew my line saver due 3rd Dec.
As soon as you report a fault on your phone line
While you’re waiting for the fault to be repaired, you can ask us to divert all your incoming calls to
another fixed or mobile number free of charge. If we do this, you can keep the diversion until we
repair your service.
If your incoming calls are diverted to a mobile phone, we’ll also help with the cost of the calls you
make from your mobile phone. We’ll do this automatically by taking a call allowance off your next
bill. We’ll work out the call allowance by looking at the number of days you’ve been without a
service. (Please note: there are exceptions for some products, and it’s not always possible to offer
