Call protect: block nuisance calls; allow international calls.

I want to use Call Protect to block nuisance calls, but when I set it up it blocks all my international calls as well. I want my overseas family members to call me without the hassle of including them on a VIP list. So how do I set up Call Protect to block nuisance calls and to let international calls through? 

I've tried going through the options in their so-called help section, but it is very cnofusing and doesn't help me at all. I also treid their so-called customer service, but that was equally useless.
