Call divert change answer time - how?

My home landline is set up to divert to a different number. The setup tells me that the divert should happen after 15 seconds, which is too long, as most of my callers don't wait that long.

I found on this board (and google) how to change divert time for mobile phones, but no such luck for landlines. Instructions for mobile phone gets rejected by the landline system.

Question:

What do I need to do to be able to change the call divert action time?

Thank you.

Re: Call divert change answer time - how?

Looking at 'How to use Call Features' from here it seems that there is no way to change from the default 15 seconds.

Re: Call divert change answer time - how?

Thank you for your advice. I did read this page myself, and could not find the answer hence the question. The page does not state that it is not possible to change the answer time, I would abstain from assuming that something is not possible just because you can't read about it.

I do believe it is possible to change the answer time, and would be grateful for a factual reply.

Thank you.

How about this for a factual reply - it's 15 seconds - you can't change it.

Using 21 instead of 61 will change the time to zero seconds, or have I misunderstood the question.

Re: Call divert change answer time - how?

The above suggestion of when setting up the call divert to put in 21 at the start instead of 61 is correct as this will route the calls through straight away as opposed to the 15 second delay.

Set up Call Divert

Dial *[Code]*[Number to divert to]#
Check Call Divert Dial *#[Code]#
Cancel Call Divert Dial #[Code]#

The following three codes should be used in the above instructions:

Divert all calls

21

Divert calls that aren't answered within 15 seconds

61
Divert calls when the line is engaged 67

Kind regards,
Ben
