Call Protect - still awaiting activation months later

Some time back (a few months ago) I noticed Call Protect and thought it sounded like a good idea, so I requested it.

When I recently checked call features it's still shown as

Plusnet Call Protect   [ Awaiting activation ]

Did I forget to shake a six to start?

Do you get the call protect keypad menu when you dial 1572? If so it is presumably working despite the message.

If not, I suggest 'removing' call protect via the home phone control panel and then re-adding it in an attempt to 'bump' it into action.

Sorry to hear this.

I've checked our suppliers system and it's showing as active there so it should be working

As per the suggestion above can you try dialing 1572 to see what that says?

Yes, It's now working - I didn't realise that I needed to do things in order to activate it.

Problem solved.
