Everything is deactivated now, without me having got around to raising a ticket (I don't know whether @Tibzor's intervention had anything to do with that or not). For the moment, I shall wait and see what happens rather than attempt to do anything more myself.

Yes it was the intervention of @Tibzor and if you wait 24hrs go to your account, activate Call Protect and see what happens. If you still have a problem report it back here.

Except for a few specialised issues, the facility for customers to raise tickets was withdrawn several years ago.

Hello, it was actually I that deactivated the call features on your account so they could be re-added. Sorry I should’ve posted earlier on.
After @Tibzor’s intervention of adding them directly into the supplier systems has completed, we’ll fix your account up next week so you’ll be able to manage the call features yourself.

@Gandalf , I have had Plusnet call protect for some time and recently (like a week or so ago) I needed to blacklist one number which was becoming a nuisance, but at the time of activating call protect I was not given the number 1572 to dial to block (or redirect) the number and therefore I had to make a call to plusnet customer service which took a long time to get through - to be told to dial 1572 and then proceed from there.
My concern is if I need to check which numbers I have "redirected" using 1572, how do I go about it. Is there a procedure somewhere on plusnet website to follow? Please do enlighten us the (poor and struggling) customers.

That's what came up on a search for "Plusnet call protect table". The comment at the bottom, though, doesn't fill one with confidence:
"This table has been compiled using the instructions and by listening to the voice instructions on 1572. There may be errors and are certainly omissions."
