Call Divert *61

I have Call Divert set up on my line. Setting up using *21*number to divert to# works just fine.

 

According to the instructions, using *61*number to divert to# should send the call to the diverted number if it’s not answered after 15 seconds. What actually happens is that the caller immediately gets a message saying ‘this call is being diverted’ while my phone does NOT ring at all.

 

What’s the problem?

Hi there, 

 

I'd try setting that up again, it could be that the wrong number was entered by mistake when setting up the diversion.

Hi there.

The number is set up correctly *61*(number to divert to)#

 

When a caller calls my number, my phone does not ring for 15 seconds.

 

The caller immediately hears a calls to this number are being diverted message (for 15 seconds), after that they hear the ringing tone as the call is diverted to the ‘number to divert to’.

That's odd, does this happen when anyone tries to call you regardless landline or mobile?

Are you also able to try setting it up using a different phone number just to narrow things down a bit?

I’ve diverted to a landline number instead of my mobile - same result.

 

I’ve got people to call me from landline and mobile - same result.

 

My landline doesn’t ring for 15/seconds and the caller gets a ‘calls to this number are being diverted’ message for 15 seconds.

 

Feel free to arrange a test call.

Thanks, I've placed an order to remove the call feature which has completed and I've got another order in place to re-add it which should complete within the hour. Let us know how it goes.
