Any time 300 international - minutes balance

I'm on the 300 international package. Do included calls show up on the "itemised bill" section of the phone control panel? If not, how do I see how many minutes I've used?
Thanks.

They do show up, even if they're free. A mini project to display the number of minutes remaining to the customer has just started but I don't have any information on expected turn around time on it, unfortunately it won't be quick due to development commitments.

Thanks Ben.
How soon is the page updated after making a call. I've made a few today which are not showing yet.
Thanks again.

I think BT supply call information in batches and Plusnet usually process these late in the evening. So normally the call lists cover up to the previous day's calls.

I believe the subject of displaying the number of customer minutes remaining on the Anytime 300 International  phone package was discussed on this forum in 2007 and was being looked into by Plusnet at that time. Pleased it's making some progress.

Re: Any time 300 international - minutes balance

BTW normally upload the calls at around 20:30 each day. We pull them down and start processing them at 21:15 and this tends to last until around 01:00 or 02:00 the next day. Accounts are updated on-the-fly during this process with any credit limit warnings / barring orders sent at the very end of the entire process. However, calls (especially internationals) are often delayed by a day or two and if there is an error on BTW / BTOR's side (e.g. they don't update their files to send the CDRs to us) then these can be delayed even longer.
On the odd occasions that a rollout or problem delays call processing then we run it during the day. This has happened a few times in the last couple of months for a number of reasons but before then this was very rare.

My international calls from Wednesday (starting around 12:30) are still not showing.

Delays of up to 7 days (and in some cases, even longer) are entirely normal, please be patient Smiley
Problems requiring intervention tend only to be seen around activation or cessation of service as they are occasionally caused by BT(W or OR) not updating their records quickly enough.

Which is all well and good -but I appear to have a metered service where it is not possible to get an accurate meter reading - meaning I am likely to go over my allowance and incur charges without realising.
To my mind - this is NOT very good at all.

Well you can't say much fairer than that Ben.  Smiley
Not your fault, just please pass on the sentiment.
Cheers
Tony.

Re: Any time 300 international - minutes balance

OK - now three days out of date with information. I'm coming close to the end of my 300 minutes and this is unmanageable. Having to keep a personal record of calls made is ridiculous in 2013.
Pretty certain I'm going to cancel the international add-on, and go back to 1899.com. At least then I'll know where I am.

Re: Any time 300 international - minutes balance

We have paused call processing for 2 days due to an issue behind the scenes that we're working to fix; these will be processed asap, unfortunately I'm not sure when that will be. Hopefully today or tomorrow.

Re: Any time 300 international - minutes balance

Well yes, now it's caught up - and I've gone over my allowance. That coupled with a couple of calls where I missed the 1/2 hour deadline, and got charged means it's costing me about the same as 1899, including connection charge, but with 1899, I don't need to remember to hang up after 1/2 hour, and I don't need to track my own usage (Calls appear on their site immediately the call is made)
So I've just downgraded back to any-time without the international minutes.
