Additional charges

Hi

Why am I being charged for additional phone charges when I do not have a landline home phone? Charges for a 123 call What is that? I have not had a landline phone for years only mobiles are used. Could a staff member investigate please.

Thank you for your help.

Re: Additional charges

@graham2657 That will undoubtedly be a rogue Openreach person or contractor testing for spare pairs the unofficial way by calling the speaking clock (123).

It's a common problem, and one of the PN Help Team will be along to sort out a refund.

Re: Additional charges

Thanks for getting in touch @graham2657

I've refunded that call charge now you'll receive within 5 to 10 working days.

If this happens again let us know as we'll need to investigate further with you.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Re: Additional charges

Hi Gandalf

This is the 2nd month now i've had 123 additional call charges. Last month you kindly helped but for some reason I am still being billed for calls to 123 phone number even though we have no home phone and only use mobiles. Could yourself or plusnet look into this and finally resolve it. Thanks in anticipation of your help.
