Action on Home phone with no dial tone or incoming calls.

Just a quick one for someone who knows, please. Clue's in the title. I "seem" to have reported this fault on line "automatically" by doing a line test and I received a response saying that it has been passed to Openreach for investigation:-

"Your fault has now been raised with Openreach (who we work with on phone issues) for further investigation.
The problems you're experiencing are usually resolved within 1-3 working days. If this isn't the case, we'll contact you to let you know."

They included a tracking number etc. But the also screen came up with a 0800 number to ring. Waited ages and gave up. Do I need to phone this number and report it personally, or will things happen automatically now?

Thanks.

BB

@BertieBassett If the troubleshooter raised a fault, you do not need to do anything - but keep your eye on the ticket, and check if anything has been done in the meantime. I would personally try the phone once a day and see if your dial tone comes back.
