I am wondering if there have been any updates on a thread on this topic 2 years ago:
I have established that PlusNet charge 9.58 p / min "access charge" for all calls to indirect service providers. Whilst this is often more than the cost of the call itself it is cheaper than most of PlusNet's competitors.
What is unclear is if this access charge applies also to the "18" category of numbers - 18185, 18866, 1899 or if these somehow circumvent the charge - which radically reduces the attraction of using the indirect providers in the first place. Unless the access charge is covered in one's call plan (mine does not include "International") which is also unclear.
And if one can still use 18185 etc with PlusNet.
News from anyone who knows the latest positon would be most welcome.
