£50 credit on homephone

Hello,
I am a newbie Smiley and in the process of joining up to homephone, this may seem like a silly question to many but....the £50 credit.....do you have to pay this upfront when signing up (pay for calls in advance?) or is it just a limit that plusnet puts on the account to stop to many calls.
cheers
ian.

Hi Ian,
No, it's not something you would need to pay up front, it's just a monthly spending cap.

Re: £50 credit on homephone

I think this is just the maximum you can spend on calls in a billing month, without topping up your account.  It's to prevent you getting an unexpected massive bill at the end of the month.
