1571 voicemail comes as standard on anytime but not working

Hi I have tried to use the 1571 voicemail but the message states this service is not active on this line.
I have got it marked a active on my call features so thought it was activated.
I have dialled 1571 on my landline phone and after listening to the recorded message pressed 1 on the keypad and then 1 again to activate this service.
It did say that BT charges £1.85 pm for this service at the end and I am a bit concerned that I might now being charged for this service if it does go active in the next two days as in the recorded message.
As I am on anytime call package I am presuming this should be free to activate.
I do hope that I have done this correctly and if not can plusnet help in sorting this for me if it is a free service in my call plan.
Thank you

Re: 1571 voicemail comes as standard on anytime but not working

Hi Herbie44,
Welcome to the forums  Smiley
Unfortunately there was an error in the provision of your service (individuals rather than systems), meaning that voicemail is showing on your member centre, but hasn't been added on wholesale. I'll get this sorted by Monday at the latest, though it'll probably be on your line sooner. My apologies.
FYI - voicemail 1571 is free of charge with PN foreseeably.
