1571 not on landline

Hi,
Since moving to plusnet our 1571 answerphone has gone. Ringing 1571 gives a message "this line doesnt have a call answering service". Yet on the Home phone control panel screen it is showing as active. I need to fix this as my wife/son get messages regarding hospital appointments.

Seems like your order for 1571 has got "stuck" in the system , i would advise giving PN a call or live chat , as you may not get a response on the forum from PN till tomorrow.

We should be OK until tomorrow if someone can check, I tried the chat earlier but there was a large queue for an answer!
As long as it can be sorted in the next few days that would be great.

Hi Aives1, I've had a look at this for you and it would appear that the 1571 service had not activated on your account, I have re-processed this for you now and it should activate in the next 24 working hours, I will monitor this for you and update you once it has completed.

Hi Tony,
I have exactly the same issue that the 1571 service says its active on the control panel but when you ring 1571 it tells you that this service is not available.
Could you kindly look into this for me.
