150 - who is the service provider

I have a PlusNet line but when I dial 150 it goes to BT.
Can anyone confirm if this is correct. I thought it went to the provider of the service which in this case would be PlusNet.
I know PlusNet is owned by BT but I expected it to direct to PlusNet.

Re: 150 - who is the service provider

Are you sure you've actually signed up for Plusnet's Home Phone, akthus?
Broadband and phone are separate services, and it sounds like you're still with BT for phone.
I get the same message as Oldjim.

If you've just joined as a broadband user at your current house the phone usually changes over a bit after the broadband

Hi 4c
Yes I am signed up for PlusNet phone and fbre broadband when they can manage to get that working for me.
I have had issues from migrating over from TalkTalk and whether the number had migrated acroos correctly or not.
But I can make phone calls in and out and they show up on my PlusNet account.

Re: 150 - who is the service provider

When I was with TalkTalk it used to direct to them. Now when you dial 150 it goes to BT.
BTW I moved from TalkTalk to PluSNet for phone and broadband. It has been a nightmare with all kinds of things going wrong.
I have had incoming calls to my house ringing my next door neighbour. That was fixed and then I realised TalkTalk customers calling me would hear a ringing tone but I would get nothing.
These issues have been fixed after 2 weeks of going live but my Fibre Internet which was supposed to be live on the 19th is still not working despite 2 engineer visits.
