Hi,im trying to figure out,how can i get rid of the last number and the intermittent tone before you ring 1471.All i get at the end is---to return the call press 3 there is a charge,etc.etc. regards ray.
If you've got an intermittent tone it sounds as if you've got voicemail! Have you tried dialling 1571? You'd then need to listen to the message and press 3 to erase it. To clear the last number out of 1471 you need to dial 1475 and hang up. You're phone will ring and the number of the last call will be erased. As an aside - although it says there's normally a charge to press 3 to return the call, the "charge" for this service with PN is zero!
Hi Paul03 and thanks a lot mate,was great help,didnt realise there was no charge with pn for return calls,is that all calls where you can redial with the 3 prefix.regards again ray.
There's no charge for pressing "3" (IIRC BT charge 7.5p) but you still pay the package cost of your call (which would only be zero if it was an inclusive 01/02/03 call).
