1471 and my number was given?

1471 to check if I missed any calls while out shopping and it reported last call was my own landline two days ago, how?

There are two possibilities here:

1.  Someone sent you a message using BT Text - this rings your phone and reads out the text.  For some reason it also shows the caller ID as your own number.

2.  Someone has spoofed your own number.  I've seen this happen on junk calls to try and defeat anonymous caller reject devices.

3.  If you have Call Minder (aka Voicemail Extra), it will ring to let you know if a message was left while the line was engaged - with your own number as caller ID.

Now that you mention a  text message I did get one that came in as a call and a 1571 message

So when that nice man from India calls to help me get compensation for the accident I didn't have, he can pretend he is calling from my living room.
