1471, 141,1571

I have just the Plusnet  Line Rental Saver package.
Is he use of 1471 and 141 free?
Are there any other free features that I should be aware?
I have not opted for Voicemail so I assume there will be no conflict with my own answering machine - 6 rings and answer.

Hi
Yes 1471 and 141 are free
No ( apart from free Voicemail which you do not need )
Your own Voicemail  will work fine
Kind Regards
Mike

Re: 1471, 141,1571

Mike,
Unless the FREE voicemail is deactivated, it will still function and take messages if...
1. It answers in less than 6 rings, it will get the call before user's answerphone
2. If there is an inbound call whilst the phone is in use
The latter is one of the most frustrating aspects of voicemail - there is no indication that a call has been missed until the phone is picked up to expressly check or to make another call.

Re: 1471, 141,1571

Hi Mike,
I don't think you misread the post, it is more what you do (or do not) read into the semantics - I'm a pedant - I therefore like to ensure clarity...
Voicemail - "not opting for" (Voicemail plus) is not the same as actually "opting out of the default free basic voicemail service" - something many people "forget" is always there unless you actually opt out!
So I'm clarifying not really correcting.  Cheesy

Cheers,
Kevin
