My latest bill indicates someone made a call for 1 minute duration to 123 at specified time and date. I have no idea what this is and we did not make this call. Plus Net say if its on the system then the call was made. We have inclusive calls and never ever have to pay extra. Anyone out there had this problem ?

We have never ever rung this number. Someone must be hacking into my account or something of the like.

I have checked the call logs for your line which we receive from BT.  These records confirm that 123 was dialled from your landline at approximately 12:30 on 03/08/11.

How can this be possible. Can you suggest any other reasons why or how this could be possible?

I have just googled this and it would appear that BT have made similar mistakes before and made the appropiate refunds.

I have read this problem attributed to Sky boxes ringing out. Do you have one?

Hi,
This isn't impossible but is however extremely unlikely.
I'm absolutely not saying that we won't refund the call for you, however we would like to know why it has happened.

alanf. I have seen that about sky boxes, but I dont have one. Jamie, I will be interested to hear your results.I cannot honestly remember if I was even home at the time of the ' call'
