0844 calls

I thought these were free calls with the "all calls free package" that I have. But they are not.  I'm not happy at being charged on top of what I already pay.

Re: 0844 calls

Included calls http://www.plus.net/packages/broadband-anytime-calls/
Anytime calls: Means calls to UK landlines beginning with 01, 02, 03, 0845 and 0870 at anytime
0844 numbers have varying tariff charges depending on the next three numbers
http://www.bt.com/pricing/current/Call_Charges_boo/1632_d0e5.htm#1632-d0e5 gives the Charge Rate e.g g17 or g6 (there are others) and the Plusnet charges are given here http://www.plus.net/residential/tariffs/homephone.html

Re: 0844 calls

Thanks Oldjim,
I have been phoning different shops to enquire about cookers and assumed their numbers would be free to call.  I'll have to ask them to phone me back in future as they want to sell me stuff so they should really pay.
