0800 number

Hi,
Was wondering if 0800 numbers are free on plusnet as they weren't on talktalk ?

I can confirm that calls to 0800 numbers are free.

I'm surprised TalkTalk are allowed to charge for 'Freephone' numbers - even some mobile providers are free for 0800 (giff-gaff for example).
Surprisingly, although I know 0800 numbers are free to call on Plusnet home phone, I couldn't find these in the relevant parts on the Plusnet site: http://www.plus.net/home-broadband/tariffs/ I believe 0500 is also free.

Hi , you should give them a call and get a refund, as according to their website calls to 0800 0808 and 0500 are free

BT don't send us details of 0800 calls so they're definitely free Smiley
