Re: would you trust a Mature Woman?

I opened it in PDF-XChange Viewer then printed it  as a PDF using Cutepdf which got rid of the Foxit illegal (Adobe version) formatting

Re: would you trust a Mature Woman?

This is one of the problems with Foxit - although it is supposed to be fixed in the latest version but doesn't seem to be

Anyway, it is now readable but it has been round as an email several times in the few years I have had internet access!

Re: would you trust a Mature Woman?

Let me put it this way.
With PDF-Xchange Viewer the total file size is only 17.6MB and it doesn't get its claws into everything like Adobe
There are a lot of extra things which you can do such as add text to a PDF document and save the results - so you can fill in forms and save them
You can annotate documents including highlighting text
As an example I have messed about with Pierre's original here
One other thing it is much much faster

Re: would you trust a Mature Woman?

Thanks Oldjim for the details, I'll have a look at PDF-Xchange Viewer.
Pierre - don't understand your post.  Are you suggesting Adobe reader is chargeable, it's free.

Re: would you trust a Mature Woman?

He meant that it sticks a load of unnecessary stuff all over your PC - file size 33.5MB - so what is all the extra used for as PDF-XChange Viewer is 17.6MB and does far more

Re: would you trust a Mature Woman?

^ Not to mention it takes an eternity to start, is forever wanting to connect to the web (never did find out how to switch that off :-\) and if the Adobe site is down or undergoing maintenance, it hangs your browser. Angry

Re: would you trust a Mature Woman?

Have swapped it for foxit and it does seem to be better.
