the universe and the little bang theory

the universe and the little bang theory
thinks that the big bang was not a big bang at all
but that the universe was born from a tiny seed of another pregnant(parent universe) preexisting universe
and that their was 'a Before
a picture below shows the worlds largest vacuum  chamber
it  has 8 feet thick walls that are made from 2000 tons of solid aluminum
inside it , it will take two days of pumping out air then another week of freezing out of the remaining molecules
to create a near perfect vacuum
a Cathedral size volume of nothing the arena of Genesis

yet this is a nothingness through which light can travel
proving that nothing is in fact something
see photo

the last photo shows the birth of the universe
the big bang(or rather the little bang) that has given us the galaxies and the
stars that we have today
you can see how out of nothing matter was created and a universe was born
looks like they maybe two kinds of nothing
1) an absolute nothing ,no space, no time one with no equations
an absence of everything the human mind can conceive off
i:e just nothing
2)then they is the vacuum, which is nothing but the absence of matter
a perfect vacuum where there is on the face of it only energy
but in a perfect vacuum , energy sometimes transforms itself
temporarily into matter(a tiny explosion)or the little bang

Re: the universe and the little bang theory

Don't know if anyone saw Stephen Hawkings Universe on TV recently but he stated that the big bang didn't even emit light since "it hadn't been invented yet".
Now I dunno about you guys but that got me thinking. If nothing existed until the point of the bang then that must mean that time itself is the very fabric of the universe. IF nothing existed forever then suddenly forever would indicate a timeline and history... which would in itself be a form of energy which would presumably build up and cause.... yup you got it... an explosion.
Now Hawking also stated that this big bang also threw out lots of matter and anti matter.. and he said that luckily there was slightly more matter than anti matter and thats how the universe remains. well that can't be quite right can it - seeing as you can't have one without the other (in theory) there must be an equal amount of anti-matter out there in space its just that there is so little matter and anti-matter left over from the bang the 2 colliding is now just a very rare event.
Not that any of this matters anyway.. Hawking himself suggests that the universe will one day just fizzle out...  and at that point all our lives have been for nothing unless we find a way to keep it going or survive without a universe. Then... there's also the theory that the universe will collapse on itself back to the point of origin... which could in its own right create another big bang and start the whole process again...
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

Re: the universe and the little bang theory

ordinary explosions are messy
but our universe explosion wasn't messy at all
our universe was a uniform  explosion ,as you can see in the photos
ordinary explosions
uniform explosion
universe looks similar inalldirections
it looks the the same in every direction
one theory
is that just after matter appeared
there was an unprecedented growth in  size of the universe from the matter from inside the vacuum
it also explains why properties in the universe are all similar to each other
was a  big bang(or little bang) needed at all ?as a uniform explosion was already there
a pre existing condition that has been there
well forever(eternal)
some have cut the big bang story out of the picture altogether
some have modeled our universe to be just one of billions
in what Linde models  as a  Swiss cheese
so far he calculates that there are 10*10*10  to the power 7 other universes
that is 1 followed by a  huge number of zero's
see photo
and this family of universes is growing
getting bigger all the time as other child universes are born
see Linde's cheese model

the new theory and mathematics supports your last  part in  your post
the point here being
the 'everything in nothing' is never reached
when the universe is very small it is believed that gravity
becomes repulsive instead of attractive
so a new formula was needed that accounts for the very  big and the very small
marrying quantum mechanics and Einsteins theory of gravity
a new formula has been produced
the left hand side part of it shows the universe getting smaller and smaller
as you approach big bang the part in orange is the one predicted by Einsteins theory of gravity
the part in white is the connections which come from quantum gravity
so looking at the orange part , this tells you that if you look at a
universe that is becoming smaller and smaller as you approach big bang
the left and right hand side of the equals sign both become infinity
so there is a problem as something has gone wrong
so quantum gravity gives the expression (the bit added in white)
ensuring that as the left part of the equation
becomes smaller and smaller as the big bang is  approached
both parts on the sides of the equals signs become zero
and the universe starts expanding again
so well done
it proves that out there people are listening

Re: the universe and the little bang theory

Just to set this in context for anyone who didn't see it, this all follows a Horizon programme last night.

Minor correction - the number referred to in the programme was 10 to the power 10 to the power 10 to the power 7.
I quite enjoyed the little sub-plot with the wooden puzzle. Roger Penrose seemed to be quickest at working it out, so I'll back his theory Grin.
